Totally Stoked!

First trip with Sea Sniper Baja is one I’ll always remember. First off Chay is a class act, a true gentleman and hospitable guide. He picked us up at the airport on time and in a modern truck that was immaculate.

The accommodations, in my opinion were outstanding. Chay calls it camping, however we had our beds on a rooftop overlooking the Sea of Cortez. We had our own private outdoor bathroom with flush toilets and showers that resemble a high-end resort. We also had access to a full functioning kitchen where our meals were prepared.

There is also a complete workshop to make any repairs on your spearguns if needed, and an unreal fish cleaning station to process your catch. Everything about Chays place is immaculate.

The spearfishing was again unreal. Chay’s boat captain, Evi, met us at the beach on time in a clean boat. Chay and Evi worked their butts off to put us on the fish, moving us from spot to spot until we found them. The three of us had numerous opportunities at marlin and wahoo however our shooting needs some improvement. We also shot numerous reef fish, which made excellent ceviche. This is a picture of my first wahoo, 44lbs. Totally Stoked. In my opinion Chay’s operation is top notch and I can’t wait to go back.
